Nail Art Challenge Day 20: Water Marbled.
This one seemed harder to do and didn’t turn out as well as some of the other water marbles I have done… It’s probably because I used 4 colors for it. I still got a bunch of compliments, though.

Nail Art Challenge Day 19: Galaxies. I skipped Day 18 due to the fact that I have already done half moons (see past posts)… I actually liked the way this one turned out more than I thought I would.

Nail Art Challenge Day 17: Glitter
I went to Sallys today, and this blue glittery nail polish was on clearance for $3.99! I couldn’t pass that up! The color is called ‘Stone Cold’ by Orly, and it is seriously one of the prettiest nail polish colors I’ve ever seen. One coat is really all you need for this one to get full coverage, so that’s another plus.
I used Milani’s ‘Gold’ at the tips, and used Cover Girl’s ‘Gold Rush’ to create a gradient effect on my nails as well.

Nail Art Challenge Day 16: Tribal Nails
Needs to be cleaned up a bit, but not too bad. :)
For this I used the most fluorescent red you could ever imagine—China Glaze ‘Rose Among Thorns (Neon)’. This picture doesn’t do the color justice.

For this, I used China Glaze ‘Street Chic’ for the background, and Finger Paints ‘Well-Cultured Pearl’.

Nail Art Challenge Day 14: Flowers
Honestly, this challenge didn’t really inspire me to do my own nails, but my sister just so happened to want flowers on her nails which got me out of my rut. That was convenient! :)
She wanted a purple background with white flowers. For this manicure, I used China Glaze in ‘Spontaneous’ for the background, and just a basic white…I used a dotting tool for the flowers.
Sorry about the newspaper background. Our kitchen table was covered with newspaper because I was painting Christmas ornaments, so I don’t have my normal background. :p

Nail Art Challenge Day 13: Animal Print
I did a simple french manicure with China Glaze ‘Street Chic’ at the tips. From there I printed a leopard print pattern over the top of my nails in black and gold.

Combining 2 of my favorites things: The Hunger Games and China Glaze Nail Polish… ‘We could Runaway’ looks really unique. ‘Flaming Gems’ and ‘Fire in Flight’ look like they could be amazing also. Really, they all look awesome!
